Are you looking to grow in design leadership?

I’ve been a Product Designer for 29 years, working on software teams at places like IBM and Cigna, but today is a great day to level up.

If you’ve read my Designy Mission, you know I took the long path to growing in practical and effective design leadership (read as 29 years long).

So, I’m opening up my “Designed to Lead” professional development sessions to Product Designers who have the courage to take that first step. This could be you or a Product Designer you see who has the sparks of leadership.

It comes down to the practical essentials: becoming more effective with design ideas, presenting designs confidently to stakeholders, and demonstrating the power of design thinking day to day and in every challenge.

I only work with people who are totally committed to geeking-out over design details and pushing themselves to the next level. It’s one thing to hear sound advice, but it’s another thing to apply and adapt it yourself.

Here's what we'll do during the intro call:

  1. Unlock the areas of Product Design you want to strengthen and what design leadership looks like for you.
  2. Uncover hidden challenges that could be sabotaging your success in having a confident design voice.
  3. Understand next steps so you can get started designing on purpose and not by accident.

I’m waiving my fee for these sessions because I’m building my practice by invitation and referral only. All you have to do is be willing to bring your best focus during the session so I can help you figure out your next steps.

These sessions will be particularly useful to Product Designers who are in companies where design is underutilized and who are looking to make an impact on their product or company but don’t know where to begin.

If you would like to be part of my personal challenge, email me at newsletter@designy.com with “GET DESIGNY” in the message and I’ll follow up with a personal link so you can schedule the session.

Feel free to forward this to Product Designers you know who may also benefit from this offer.

This one step is the easiest one. Whatever you walk away with from our session, talking about design is always a blast. Looking forward to it!

Thanks!
